What will Eastern Harvest Catering supply?

In addition to the food, all of our clambakes and BBQ include the buffet tables, serving dishes, heavy-duty disposable plates, plastic utensils, lobster bibs, napkins, wet wipes and all condiments.  Following your meal the staff will clean the cooking and serving area and remove any trash that has accumulated from the service.

Do you supply waitstaff and/or bartenders?

Yes, we can supply waitstaff if needed. Waitstaff can assist with buffet service and passing appetizers. They can also help with cleanup needs, bussing guest tables, and any other assistance you may require.


Our bartenders are licensed and carry liquor liability insurance. They can serve any alcohol that is customer supplied. Ice, disposable bar glasses, cocktail napkins, containers to keep beverages cool, and other bar supplies can be added if needed. Eastern Harvest Catering does not supply or sell alcoholic beverages.

Beverage Service

Soft drinks, bottled water, coffee, tea, and juice can be supplied for your event as well.

How do you serve your clambakes?

We serve all of our meals buffet style. We can setup and serve either outside or inside your venue. We will supply both the buffet tables and linens for the buffet tables.

Do you service my area?

We provide our clambakes to every area of Massachusetts (with the exception of certain areas of Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard). We also cater to Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Can you help me find a venue for my event?

We can supply you with a venue list and can also help you with any related rentals etc.

Where does your seafood come from?

We use the freshest shellfish and seafood from our local water as availability allows

Can I change around the menu?

Sure, while our menus are carefully tailored to maximize your experience, we realize you may like to add or remove certain items. We, along with our menus, are very flexible and would be happy to accommodate your requests. 

What if it rains?

Unless there is a “rain date” agreement beforehand we will bring pop-up tents to cover the buffet area and cooking area.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, business check and credit cards. Credit card balances are due 72 hours before your event. 

How do I know when the clambake season is over?

We provide services year-round. We will come to your location, prepare your food outside and serve it anyplace you like. As a matter of fact it is a terrific idea to have an event in the off-months as your guests will always remember that “clambake in the winter”.

Sales tax and gratuity?

7% State of MA meals tax is added to the cost.  Staff gratuity is not included in contract price unless noted.
